Has the boss gone mad

For the rest of this week, Wednesday 25/11 to Saturday 28/11 you can rent any self storage unit for $1 for the first month. That’s ONE dollar for a month of storage. Don’t miss out but remember you need to mention this post.

It is the storer’s time.

The self storage industry is experiencing a time of strong competition. Some of the smaller facilities can not offer the same great prices as the larger ones.
This fact makes current times ideal for storers. When you inquire about storage, make sure you receive quotes in writing - as a letter, fax or email.
Compare quotes you receive to find the best option and keep in mind that the cheapest is not always the best.

In our latest marketing campaign on local 4GR and CFM as well as on Toowoomba TV, we guarantee to beat any competitor’s quote by 20%.

All we need to see is an official quote for a similar storage unit that we offer and we will beat that price by 20%. It is EZY as that.

As a reminder, here is what we have to offer:
24/7 PIN coded access.
16 CCTV cameras.
Each shed individually alarmed with direct connection to Police and local security company.
FREE trollies and trailer.
Open 6 days per week.
After hours phone. Speak to a staff member at any time.

Compare this with what others offer and you will see:
EZY Access Storage. It’s so EZY even kids can do it.

How do I find out how much storage space I need?

By admin, November 12, 2009

here are two ways to find out.
The easy way is to use our space calculator, you can find it here.

The other is the manual way.

Measure the height of your object.
Measure the length.
Measure the width.

Convert measurements to meters if they are not already. If measurement was taken in millimetres, divide by 1,000. If by centimeters, divide by 100.
Multiply the three measurements. The answer is given in cubic meters.

Do this with every item you want to store and add up the results.
Rule of thumb is to add an extra 5 cubic metres to it just to be on the safe side.

This is your magic number. Considering that all of our units are 3 meters high you need 6×3 meter unit to store 54 cubic meters (3×6x3).

What if I can not pay the rent?

By admin, November 4, 2009
Often asked and not easy to answer.

Firstly there are two kinds of self storage facilities; the facilities that ARE members of the Self Storage Association of Australia and those that are not.

EZY Access IS a member of the Association so we are bound by their terms and conditions.

If you store with a “non member facility,” it is entirely up to the owner/operator what they do; The most common choice is that they would force your storage unit open and sell/keep/use the items stored to recover their cost.

With all members of the Association, it is a different story.

After you receive a reminder letter telling you that you missed a payment, you will receive a second letter reminding you of this outstanding payment.
Should you not follow the instructions to pay, you will receive a letter telling you that in 2 weeks from the date of that letter your storage unit will be opened. Three quotes will be obtained and your goods will be sold to the highest bidder.
